DAY 1: NAIROBI - On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight: Safari Park Hotel.
DAY 2: NAIROBI to MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - Travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and down the Rift Escarpment. Continue across acres of wheat and barley, to reach the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Take an afternoon game drive. Overnight: Mara Sopa or similar (B, L, D)
DAY 3: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - The accent around the lodge is on the indigenous Masai people and the wealth of wildlife, birdlife and natural flora. Morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight: Mara Sopa or similar (B, L, D)
DAY 4: MASAI MARA to LAKE NAKURU - Head across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley before arriving at Lake Nakuru, home to millions of flamingos. Overnight: Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar (B, L, D)
DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU to AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK - We head towards Nairobi and then continue south towards Amboseli. On arrival at the park enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge. Overnight: Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar (B, L, D)
DAY 6: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK - Set in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the lodge is perfectly poised to provide a luxurious base from which to explore the park. Overnight: Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar (B, L, D)
DAY 7: LAKE MANYARA - Drive to the Tanzanian border and after some brief border formalities, you will proceed on to Speke Bay on the shores of Lake Victoria. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: SERENGETI - Depart for the Serengeti arriving at the lodge for lunch. Visit Serengeti National Park, which covers over 14,000 sq kms. Tens of thousands of hooved animals are constantly on the move in search of fresh grassland. After lunch enjoy a game drive. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: SERENGETI - Today enjoy full day game viewing in the breathtaking Serengeti. Explore the woodlands and vast plains, home to an abundant variety of wildlife. (B, L, D)
DAY 10: NGORONGORO CRATER - After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater via Oduvai Gorge. At 20kms wide the walls of this amazing Crater houses an astounding array of animals and vegetation and the wildlife share the crater with the local Masai who still have grazing rights there. (B, L, D)
DAY 11: NGORONGORO CRATER to TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK -
After breakfast, drive to Mto Wa Mbu Village arriving in time for an excursion of the local village. Lunch is provided followed by a real cultural experience. A leisurely stroll with a village guide will take you through local homes, farmlands, resident bars, a kindergarten and a church. Following the excursion you continue to Tarangire National Park with a game drive enroute to your lodge located deep within the park. Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge or similar (B,L,D)
DAY 12: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - Morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire National Park. Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge or similar (B,L,D)
DAY 13: TANANGIRE NATIONAL PARK to NAIROBI - Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive back to Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After lunch you continue the journey by road to Nairobi arriving in Nairobi late afternoon.
