- Kuta Beach is undoubtedly Bali's most popular beach. Originally a surfing destination Kuta Beach is nowadays Bali's party beach and is packed with hotels, restaurants, bars and night clubs. Kuta Beach is fast paced and is not an ideal beach if you are looking for peace and quiet.
- Legian Beach is located right next to Kuta Beach but Legian Beach is not as busy and commercialised as its noisy and energetic neighbour.
- Seminyak Beach is located just north of Kuta and Legian Beach. The beaches of Seminyak are quieter than its southern neighbours. Seminyak is the trendy and upmarket beach in Bali.
- Nusa Dua Beach sits on a beautiful white sand shore in a protected lagoon.
- Sanur Beach offers white sandy beaches and is one of Bali's most popular beaches. Sanur Beach is located on the southeastern side of Bali.
- Jimbaran Beach is a haven for sunbathers seeking a long, quiet, scenic tropical beach in Bali.
- Lovina Beach is located on the northern tip of Bali by the Bali Sea. With its black sand beaches Lovina Beach offers great beach and water activities such as snorkeling and diving. Lovina Beach is also famous for dolphin spotting.
- Padang Padang Beach is located just south of Kuta Beach and Jimbaran Beach. Padang Padang is a gem amongst beaches in Bali. Padang Padang is a fantastic beach for swimming, snorkeling and also for surfing.
- Dreamland Beach is known for its romantic sunsets. The beach is a 25 minute drive from Kuta and a popular spot to sit and watch the surfers while having a nice cold beer. Dreamland Beach is surrounded by limestone cliffs.
- Padang Bai Beach is not just one but consists of several private beaches tucked away as private blue lagoons.
